WHEATLAND – Western Royal joined with Wheatland’s own Lauden Keck to bring King of the West Truck Fest (KOTW) to Wheatland over Memorial Day weekend. It was a success with 148 entries and thousands of dollars in prizes, according to event organizers. The truck fest, according to their website, “aims to be the largest truck gathering in the mountain west region.”
The event boasted a truck show with more than 12 classes, a Mobile Dyno competition with more than eight classes, and five classes of dirt drag racing. Any pickup, truck, big rig or motorhead in the Mountain West Region was welcome to participate in the show ‘n shine, dirt drag racing and mobile dyno sled-pull competitions. There was even a hand-wash detail service available for participants from Wyett Martin’s “Elevate, Polish and Detail” out of Wray, Colorado.
Sponsors included Envision Media, Elite Diamond Motorsports, and Reckless Innovation.

Western Royal adopted the Daniels Fund Code of Ethics at its inception in 2022. “These principals guide our everyday operations and keep us focused on serving you all the to the best of our ability. United we stand, divided we fall. That stands just as true in our communities as it does our constitution. Become an asset to those around you,” the Western Royal Facebook page states.
The code of ethics establishes integrity with honesty in all situations, trust, accountability, truthful transparency, fairness, respect, compliance with the spirit and intent of the rule of law, and viability by creating long-term value for stakeholders.
