A funeral liturgy for Rose Mary Apodaca, 88, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wheatland, Wyoming with Father Tom Kadera as the Celebrant. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church with Deacon Terry Archbold. Inurnment will be held at the Wheatland Cemetery.
Rose Mary Apodaca passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Gables of Brigham City Assisted Living in Brigham City, Utah.
Rose Mary was born May 31, 1929 in Uva, Wyoming the daughter of Felix and Lebratha (Moralez) Gonzales. She was raised and educated in Uva and Wheatland. She was a nurse in Wheatland. She married Albert Apodaca on September 24, 1955 at the age of 29 and moved to Sunrise, Wyoming returning to Wheatland in 1958.
Rose Mary is survived by her children, Albert Apodaca Jr. of Boston, Massachusetts, Lee (Rhonda) Apodaca of Wheatland, Linda (Jerry) Hanks of Brigham City, Utah, and John (Virginia) Apodaca of Douglas, Wyoming; grandchildren, Anthony Apodaca of Colorado and Micah Apodaca of Laramie, Wyoming; and sister, Delores (Roger) Neifert of Guernsey, Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Apodaca on October 18, 2015 and eight sisters.
A memorial to the Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1001 Ninth Street, Wheatland, Wyoming 82201 would be appreciated by the family.
