CHUGWATER – Margaret “Peggy” Dreas, of Chugwater, our beloved mother, wife and friend passed away peacefully and gracefully, with her loving husband by her side on Jan. 13, 2018.
She was born Feb. 4, 1939, in Richland Town, Penn., to Blanche and Paul Connors. She united in marriage to Timothy Dreas on April 2, 1960, in Lehigh County, Penn. She had worked at various small jobs throughout the years but spent most of her time as a homemaker (and excellent cook!).
She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Timothy Dreas, her children, Tim (Laura) Dreas of Grand Junction, Colo., Lori (Darrel) Whinery of Wheatland, Terry (Bill) Leader of Cheyenne, Sean (Michelle) Dreas of Rockdale, Texas, Wendy Dreas of Chugwater, and Levi Dreas of Wheatland, her brother Joe (Teresa)Connors of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Sister Debbie of Chugwater, a sister-in-law, Sheila Connors of Wheatland, 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a niece
and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Blanche and Paul Connors, a daughter, Kelly Jo and a brother, Michael Connors.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Colyer Funeral Home in Torrington.
A celebration of life will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, at the Chugwater Community Center.
