Kevin Todd Cronk passed away May 3 in Northridge, Calif. following an accidental injury.  
He was born Aug. 19, 1961 to Russell and Hazel Cronk in Strausburg, Colo. Kevin graduated from Chugwater High School in 1981 where he excelled in basketball, track, and the creative arts.
Kevin pursued many careers in his life, but was most interested in art.  He attended the Santa Fe School of Art Institute and was recognized by his instructors as one of the most talented artists they had encountered without formal training.  He  was a featured artist in several New Mexico art shows in which his illustrations of Southwestern and Native American art were exhibited and often praised for their originality.
Kevin is survived by his son, Brian; five brothers, Rick Cronk of Chugwater, Allen (Carol) Cronk of Apple Valley, Calif., Craig (Rhonda) Cronk of Cheyenne, Mark (Cindy)Cronk of Cheyenne, and Kelly (Stacey) Cronk of  Chugwater; one sister, Brenda Cronk (Wayne Manchester) of Hesperia, Calif.; three nephews, Cory Cronk, Daniel Cronk, Rusty Cronk,; and seven nieces, Kimberly Cronk Sherman, Kristy Cronk Young, Cameron Cronk,  Dani Cronk, McKenzie Cronk, Danielle Cronk, and Ashley Cronk Jacobson.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Hazel Cronk and two siblings, Cindy and Leslie.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
