Jo Ann Clark, 77 passed away of natural causes on Aug. 17 at the Missouri River Medical Center of MT with family members by her side.
Her funeral service was held on Aug. 24 at the Methodist Church in Geraldine, Mont. You can visit Jo’s online memorial page at www.bentonfuneralhoe.com to leave a message of condolence for her family.
Jo was born to Jim and Frances Clark on June 20, 1942. She was raised on the family farm/ranch North of Geraldine. She was an avid “horse lady” and taught herself how to rope before she stared school.
After graduation she moved to Wheatland with her sister, Pat and family. She married Larry K. Johnston in 1966. They later divorced, but always remained good friends. She moved back to the family ranch in Geraldine and that was her home at the time of her death.
She was involved in high school rodeos and many horse shows. Her life was horses! She always had time to teach her family to ride.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, sister-in-law Donna Clark, and her former husband Larry K. Johnston.
She is survived by her brother, Rich Clark, sister, Pat Wutschke, and sister-in-laws, Dorothy Clark, and Jerra Davis, of Cheyenne.
