Gordon K. Woolsey, 78, of Yucaipa, Ca, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at his home.  Gordon was born July 11, 1939 in Wheatland, Wy to parents George Gordon and Mae Irene (Barrett) Woolsey.
On Dec. 31, 1960, he married Judy (McCreary) in Wheatland.  In the early years they farmed and purchased the Rodriguez place on Hwy 34 west of town.  He was employed by Two Bar Ranch for 5 years after selling the farm.  He also worked for his brother-in-law Leo Norris before working for Flatiron Premix and helped construct Basin Electric Power Plant. In later years he worked on various pipeline projects in Wy, Colo, Ks and Ca. In the off season he was a transporter for Teton RV’s out of Casper, Wy and Fleetwood Factory in Rialto, Ca.  In 1996  he started working on the Seven Oaks Dam in Mentone, Ca until his retirement in 2000.  
During his retirement he volunteered with Mobile Missionary Assistance Program out of Calimesa, Ca and traveled to many states doing work on churches, camps and schools.  After 8 years of service and 48 projects he purchased a home in Yucaipa Land Yacht Harbor and enjoyed helping his neighbors.  He also volunteered at the Braille Institute in Yucaipa and the San Bernardino Food Giveaway Program.
Gordon enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Virginia Norris of Wheatland and Janice Nagel of Sheridan, and brother Wood of Wheatland.  He is survived by Judy his wife of 57 years of Yucaipa, Ca; daughter Valerie Worrell (Neil) of Altoona, Ks; daughter Heather Rowe (Bill) of Bakersfield, Ca; son Jim Woolsey (Jennifer) of Rawlins Wy.  Grandchildren Colby Worrell (Sarah) of Yates Center, Ks;  Sabrina Morrison (Rick) of Wylie, Tx; MacKenzie Rana (Bryan) of Santa Maria, Ca; Emmitt Woolsey of Rawlins, Wy and Chelsea Hart (Quinn) of Portland, Or.  Great Grandchildren Kinley and Benjamin Rana and Gabrielle Morrison; brother George Woolsey(Alice) of Wheatland and numerous nieces and nephews and faithful Dog Bella.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 9, 2018, at 2:00 at Active Church in Yucaipa, Ca. Graveside services will be held later in Wheatland, Wy.
