LANDER – Wheatland’s 220-pounder Wyatt Crane picked up a fourth-place finish at the Lander Valley Invite over the weekend, leading the Bulldog grapplers to a 17th place finish.
Crane went 2-2 on his way to fourth at 220 pounds, earning Wheatland 14 team points. Kyle Hicks racked up eight team points, with Ethan Read and Keegan Meyer both snagging four points for the Bulldogs.
With 30 team points, Wheatland secured 17th place, edging Mountain View’s 28 points. Star Valley took the top spot, with 257.5 points, while Worland (141.5) and Lander (124) rounding out the top-three teams.
The Bulldogs return to action this weekend to compete in the Ron Thon in Riverton.
