Celeste Marshall Hamby of Cheyenne died Aug. 21, 2020 at the Cheyenne Regional Hospital. She was born on July 10, 1940 in Wheatland, the daughter of Chester and Margaret Marshall. She graduated from Wheatland High School in 1958. During her high school days she worked at the Platte County Public Library and later at Platte County Memorial Hospital.
Celeste is survived by her four children, Larry Hamby, Margaret Ann, Donna and Mary Jo along with five grandchildren, Amanda, Dallas, Brittany, Robert and Katharine. A brother, Marlin Marshall, as well as an extended family member, John Exon, both of Wheatland also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, 3-year-old Michella Monroe.
A private graveside service for family has taken place.
