Funeral services for Tristiny Shannel “Tris” Clausen, 32, will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Gorman Funeral Home – Platte Chapel in Wheatland.
Tristiny Clausen was born on Tuesday, September 3, 1991, the daughter of Donald Lee Clausen and Leslie JoAnn (Cox) Crossland in Fort Ord, California.
Tristiny departed this world unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, in Cheyenne.
Tris had the ability to make sure that those she met never forgot her. Her personality was larger than life and only surpassed by the size of her heart. She never passed up an opportunity to help someone when she was able.
Tris’s greatest joys in life were her five children. She wanted nothing more than for them to be successful and happy. Tristiny had a passion for serving those with mental health and addiction issues. She was pursuing a psychology degree with the dream of eventually serving as a counselor and mentor to those that needed her.
Tristiny is survived by her five children, Kaden, Ryker, Alaina, Serenity, and Maddax; her mother, Leslie Crossland of Wheatland; dad, Ken Crossland of Wheatland; father, Donald (Kimber) Clausen of Sturgis, South Dakota; co-parent, Silas Richins of Wheatland; brothers, Kyler, Connan, Tannyn, and Joshua; sisters, Katrina, Nicolle, Shyann, KayDe, and Shilo; maternal grandparents, Ed and Nancy Cox of Wheatland; paternal grandparents, Fred and Sharon Clausen of Cheyenne; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tristiny is preceded in death by multiple grandparents and great-grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tristiny Clausen Memorial Fund set up at Platte Valley Bank, 200 16th Street, Wheatland, Wyoming 82201 to benefit her children.
Gorman Funeral Homes - Platte Chapel is in charge of the services.
