At times all of us feel like we are in a wilderness. We feel spiritually dry and we don’t know why. Well, when I get like that, I look inside myself and ask the Holy Spirit to show me what I’m doing to cause my spiritual dryness. We like to blame the devil for putting us there, but that’s not necessarily true. Most times, we put ourselves in that dry place. Christians should be spiritually alert and allowing the light of Jesus Christ to show forth brightly. One of the biggest problems the Israelites had getting to the Promised Land was the wilderness! Why? Because they complained, and all the time. When spiritually dry, seek the Lord, pray, read the Scripture, mediate on it, and do it! But first stop griping, disputing, and complaining.
