Ruby June Cenni, R.N. was born in Wheatland, Wyoming on June 1, 1919 to parents Clarence and Mary Smith. She graduated from Wheatland High School in 1936 and went on to receive a nursing degree from West Nebraska Methodist hospital that was affiliated with Denver General Hospital. Throughout her life, Ruby was very involved in her church as President of the Altar Society along with running the bingo program and Meals on Wheels for years. She was an active ballroom dancer and instructor who enjoyed world travel with her husband Louis J. Cenni.
She is survived by 2 daughters Kay Jackson & Donna Stone, granddaughter Heather Watts and 2 great-grandsons Jackson & Joshua Watts, along with sisters Dessie Stone and Georgine McDermott. Ruby passed away at home in Lakewood, Colorado on March 19th and her graveside service was held on March 24th by the Gorman Funeral Home.
