WHEATLAND — The Independent Cattlemen of Wyoming, Wyoming’s grass-roots ranch organization, is hosting a ranch rodeo in Wheatland on Saturday, according to a news release issued by ICOW on Friday.
This unique Western tradition starts at 11 a.m. at the Platte County Fairgrounds. It is entertainment for the entire family. The rodeo will comprise four-man teams, with an entry fee of $300 per team. The top three places will receive prize money.

For entries or more information, call Cody at 307-340-0908 or Mike at 307-340-0992.
In addition to the rodeo, ICOW is supporting the national organization, RCALF, by having tickets available for a 2018 Polaris Ranger (Crew XT 1000) raffle. For those who are not familiar with model numbers, it is a four-man, really nice side-by-side ranch or recreational vehicle. RCALF will draw the winners at its national convention Aug. 25 in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Prizes down to fourth place, which include George Strait concert tickets for two in Las Vegas, $1,000 and $500, will be given away.
For more ticket and prize information, contact Bobby Giesse, ICOW president, at 307-334-3680.
