Nellie Marie Wedemeyer

Nellie Marie Wedemeyer, 83 years, 8 months, and 26 days old, passed away on May 16 at her home with her children and family by her side.
Nellie was born Aug. 20, 1937 in Stanton, Tenn. to William Elias and Lulla Belle (Tapp) Davis.
On March 27, 1956, Nellie and David Lee Wedemeyer were united in marriage at Sardis, Mississippi and to this union were blessed with eight children.
 Nellie was a homemaker and housewife. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, cooking and painting.  Nellie loved making the grandkids cookies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David in 2020, a son, Robert Wedemeyer, and two sisters, Mildred Davis and Emily Holmes.
 Nellie is survived by her seven children and their spouses, Kenneth Eugene & Lisa Wedemeyer, James Dean & Vicki Rose Wedemeyer, Donna Marie & Joe Souza, Keith Alan & Melantha Wedemeyer, Kimberly Ann Ragland, Edward David & Jill Wedemeyer and Dyna Mae & Martin Nelson, grandchildren, Anita, Jonathon, Steven, Regina, Reanna, Jessie, Chris, Charity, Jon, Tina, Johanna, Cameron, Justin, Christina, Keven, Kathy, Raymond, Tyler, Thomas, Gabi, Stephanie, Heather, and Blake,  23 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren,  four siblings and their spouses, Mary Lucille and Robert Burns, William and Sandra Davis, Ruby and Dave Babcock, and Linda Davis, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  
    Funeral services for Nellie were held Saturday, May 22 at 1 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Mo. Chaplain Richard Ware officiated.  Memorials may be made to Three Rivers Hospice or Shriners. Online condolences may be made to www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome.com.
