WHEATLAND — Love for softball is growing strong roots in Platte County.
Parks and Rec’s Lady Lobos had huge success this 2018 season. There were approximately 60 girls participating in the softball season allowing for four 8 and under teams along with three 12 and under teams. They faced each other among their own age groups, with the 12 and under girls also competing with Douglas, Laramie and Torrington.
Learning softball techniques and building strong foundations along with teamwork, good sportsmanship and having fun were the primary focus during the season.
