Horseshow and Gymkhana results for the Platte County Horseman’s Association

WHEATLAND – The horse show was held Aug. 24. Due to the Vesicular Stomatitis outbreak in the county, Dr. Klatt and Dr. Unrein wer present to inspect the horses to prevent further spreading of the disease.

Junior: 1st Tess Palen, 2nd Andrea Fox, 3rd, Tess Palen

Adult: 1st Kathryn Currier, 2nd Laurie Mueller, 3rd Kaycee Scherger/Eric Palen
The Gymkhana for youth was held Aug. 25.

There is one more competition weekend scheduled for the Summer Series. The horse show will be Sept. 14. Enter at 8 a.m. show starts at 9 a.m. Gymkhana is Sept. 15. Enter at 1 p.m. show starts at 2 p.m.
PCHA is planning a Royalty Contest and Fun Day on Sept. 29.  If your child is interested in trying out for PCHA royalty, please let Amanda Fox know by Sept. 22.  If no one has expressed an interest in trying out by Sept. 22, they will not hold a royalty contest.  Contestants must be between the ages of 9-19.
A Tack and Clothing Swap is scheduled for Sept. 29. Anyone who brings items will be responsible for displaying, pricing, etc and all proceeds will be retained by the sellers.
