WHEATLAND - A funeral service will be held for Fredrick John “Fred” Hoth, 68, at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 21. 2021 at the First Christian Church in Wheatland with Pastor Casey Schroeder officiating.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the Craig Cemetery in Craig, Colorado with Pastor Scott Middleton of the Craig Christian Church in Craig, Colorado officiating.

A visitation will be held in the Fireside Room at the First Christian Church prior to the service from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Fred Hoth died on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Central Wyoming Hospice Home in Casper.

Fred was born Wednesday, December 9, 1953 in Craig, Colorado the son of Buddy Jack “Bud” and Esther “Eileen” (McAnally) Hoth.  He was raised and educated in Baggs and Wheatland, graduating from the Wheatland High School in 1973.  Fred attended and graduated from WyoTech in Laramie in body shop program.  He worked construction in Douglas and Casper and Maryland.  Fred returned to Wheatland and joined the family road construction business.  Following the sale of the business Fred worked as a bartender at the Commodores Bar in Wheatland until his retirement. 

Fred enjoyed fishing, hunting in the Baggs area, cooking, bar-b-queuing, and scuba diving.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved his many friends.  Fred was a member of the Wheatland Moose Lodge.

Fred is survived by his sister, Kathy Hennion; nephews, Justin (Tiffany) Hennion, and Tyler Hennion; niece, Chelsea Hennion; great niece, Sadie Hennion, all of Casper; aunt, Sally Haskins, of Maybell, Colorado; his cat, Snoopy; and numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bud, on April 7, 1996; mother, Eileen, on October 12, 2013; and brothers, Randy Allan Hoth, on December 15, 1978 and Samuel Lynn Hoth, on August 26, 1990.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Hennion, Tyler Hennion, John Rothenbuehler, Rick Bowen, Lee Grange, and Marcus Rothenbuehler.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Central Wyoming Hospice Home, 319 South Wilson Street, Casper, Wyoming 82601 would be appreciated by the family.
