WORLAND – The Wheatland Bulldog wrestlers amassed 123 team points at the 3A East Regional Tournament over the weekend in Worland, led by four top-three placers.
At 120 pounds, Wyatt Guty had the best finish, taking first in his weight class. Keegan Meyer (106) also reached the title match, finishing second, while Ethan Read (132) and Wyatt Crane (220) both snagged third.
Rounding out the placers, Kye Hicks and Seth DeWitt both placed fourth, while Noah Whitfield snagged fifth. Austun Matson (sixth), Rhett Karr (seventh), Cross Hernandez (sixth) and Daniel Hutchins (seventh) rounded out the placers for Wheatland.
Eleven Bulldogs punched their ticket for the 3A State Tournament this weekend. Action kicks off at 9 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday in Casper, with the championship matches slated for 5:15 p.m. on Saturday.
