Register for rodeo queen clinic by April 20

WHEATLAND — A rodeo queen clinic will be held April 28 at Weisers’ Barn in Wheatland from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. This event is open to all potential and current rodeo queens ages 11-22 who want to expand their skills.
Kaylee Rasnake, 2018 Platte County Horseman’s Association Queen, is conducting the clinic. Rodeo season is here, and youth will want to take advantage of this clinic. Clinicians Abby Hayduk, Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2017, and Holly Kennedy, Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2013, will share their knowledge throughout the entire day. The 2018 Laramie Jubilee Royalty will also help with this clinic.
Morning sessions will cover public speaking, interview skills, modeling, appearance and rodeo knowledge. There will be a break for lunch, which is included in the registration fee for the participant. Afternoon session will focus on horsemanship. A Queen’s Closet will be set up for selling or purchasing rodeo apparel.

Registration costs $50 per participant. This is a non-refundable fee unless clinic is canceled by Rasnake. Fees will be used to pay for lunches, clinicians and indoor arena rental.
Additional lunches can be purchased at the clinic for parent/guardian/observer attending for $7.
Horses and tack will be provided for horsemanship portion of clinic.
Registration deadline is April 20. Late registrations will be accepted through April 26 and cost an additional $10 per participant.
