Simply Creative celebrates 20th Anniversary and hosts fashion show for Witches Night Out

WHEATLAND — Local witches gathered at 10th St. Social for a fall fashion show, small bites, Eye of Newt Soup and other spooktacular goodies at Simply Creative’s annual Witches Night Out event on Saturday.

Simply Creative owner, Genia Vineyard and her hard-working and talented team hosted an elaborate party complete with swag-bags, door prizes, special VIP discounts at the boutique and more. Guests arrived dressed in their most imaginative witchy vestments while they sipped mysterious potions and enjoyed a fall fashion show.

Women from the community modeled the freshest fall fashions from jumpers and jackets, and bags to corduroy bell bottoms and boots; all of which can be found at Simply Creative boutique. Special discounts were available in-store following the event for both models and witches.

The party was further enhanced by a rousing dance performed by local witchy women you may have seen elsewhere in the community; casting their spell with amusing choreography.

This annual event is part thank-you and all celebration. Vineyard, who established Simply Creative 20 years ago with “five hundred dollars” to her name, has been consistently growing and thriving in Wheatland’s downtown district.

“I have gone from a staff of one (me) to a staff of 12 and a larger boutique space. I have to thank our awesome community for their support over all of these years. Without loyal customers, small businesses have difficulty surviving. And I just want to say thank you to Wheatland. Hosting this party is part of that,” Vineyard said.
