PART 1 – INVITATION FOR BIDS
TOWN OF WHEATLAND, WYOMING
The Town of Wheatland, Wyoming (Town) will receive sealed bid proposals at the Town Hall, located at 600 9th Street; Wheatland, WY 82201, until 2:00 P.M. local time on the 25th day of April 2024 for the “Water and Sewer Improvements- South Street Water Main Extension and 11th Street Sewer Replacement” project.
At the aforementioned time and place, such bids that are received for the project shall be publicly opened and read aloud.
Complete digital copies of the bidding documents are available at www.questcdn.com and at www.eaengineers.com under PROJECTS OUT TO BID. Submitting Contractors will be required to register with the website to download the bidding documents for $25 by inputting Quest project # 9029968 on the website’s Project search page. Optional paper copies of bidding documents are available at: Engineering Associates, 605 Plaza Court, Laramie, Wyoming 82070 upon payment of $50.00 per set, non-refundable. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 10, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. starting at the Town Hall, located at 600 9th Street; Wheatland, WY 82201.
A bid guarantee in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany any bid submitted. See Section 8.00 of Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder shall furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted bid. See Section 19.00 of Instructions to Bidders.
The Town of Wheatland (“the Town”) reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formalities in the bidding.
Prior to the award of the contract, the Town may hold bids for a period not to exceed sixty (60) calendar days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders. Provisions of Wyo. Stat. § 15-1-113, incorporated by reference, are made an express part of the Contract Documents.
