Everyone is invited to attend a celebration of the performing arts on Saturday, April 29 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 30 at 2 p.m. when more than 100 pairs of happy feet will be dancing to songs made popular by Broadway plays. The performances will be held at the Wheatland High School Auditorium, and there is no admission charge.

A special performance will be presented by current world tap champion, Kyle Van Newkirk. The 21-year old tap dancer has been performing since the age of 5, and throughout his career has been awarded many scholarships and awards for his technical skills, entertainment and overall skill level.  Kyle was the first American male to win the solo men’s title from the World Championships of Tap in 2016.  His performed all over the world and is currently getting ready to participate in the new television show, the World of Dance which begins the end of May.

This is an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of Wheatland’s children from age 3 and up. The two shows are free of charge and open to the general public.
