WHS Wrestlers take first place in Torrington

TORRINGTON – Wheatland traveled to Torrington on Tuesday the Jan. 15 to face Douglas, Torrington, and Newcastle/Upton.
Wheatland powered through and came out with a fist place victory.
The team then traveled to Lander on Friday and Saturday where six of the wrestlers placed in their individual weight classes and the team finished in sixth place.
Jake Hicks took fourth and Keegan Meyer took fifth in the 120 division. Ethan Read took third at 138, Drake Amundson took sixth at 145, Seth DeWitt took third at 152 and Wyatt Crane took fourth at 220.
