WHS Volleyball falls to Cheyenne South last week; take hard losses on the road

WHEATLAND – The Wheatland High School Volleyball team played their first home game of the season against Cheyenne South.
They fell all three games with scores 25- 20, 25 -17 and 25 - 17. In the last game the Bulldogs took the lead early on and kept it for awhile, but once the Cheyenne South team caught up, they overtook the home team to win the final game.
At the Rawlins Invitational last weekend. Wheatland played against Worland losing two games, 21 -3 and 21-14. They lost against Buffalo, 2 -13, 21-19. Lyman also bested them with scores, 21-10 and 21-15.
Lady Dawgs play the Torrington Trailblazers on their court on Sept. 19. They face the Rawlins Outlaws at home on Sept. 21 starting at 4 p.m. with the C team and JV and Varsity following. On Sept. 24, Glenrock will travel to Wheatland to compete at 4 p.m.
