LARAMIE - The Wheatland High School band was asked to come and perform at the University of Wyoming’s football game last Saturday against Northern Colorado University. The game was played at halftime with combined bands from all over the state. The combined band was introduced with the Western Thunder Marching Band.
“Students got to see the Cowboys beat the UNC Bears and play in the halftime show at the UW Football Game Saturday, Sept. 10,” said WHS band director Evan Bradley. “We've done this trip every year since I got here and it's always a hit for the kids. Meeting other band students, catching up with band alumni, seeing the game, and going to the "big city" is always fun.”
