WHEATLAND - The Bulldogs enter into the last month of wrestling, and a full schedule awaits them. Road and weather conditions forced a reschedule for the dual that was scheduled against Glenrock on the Herders home mat.

Another big crowd assembled as Wheatland was able to pull together another home event

hosting Burns/Pine Bluffs and Lusk in a triangular on Friday evening. They were able to gain

close wins against both teams. Wheatland defeated Burns/Pine Bluffs 39-33. They also won the tiebreaker over Lusk 36-36 scoring the most first points.

Injuries and sickness have crippled the team a bit, so a smaller team traveled to Yoder for the Southeast duals. Wheatland finished in seventh place defeating both Sidney 37-36 and Niobrara County in a tie breaker 36-36 with first points 8-4. The Lady Bulldog wrestlers also wrestled a round robin in Yoder however those results are not available at this time.

Looking ahead, the wrestlers travel mostly close to home this week going to Glenrock, Douglas and on to Buffalo to finish up the weekend.
