Wheatland cross country teams run up against big competition in Cheyenne

CHEYENNE – The Wheatland cross country teams traveled to Prairie View Golf Course last Friday to run in their final regular season race of the year before heading to regionals in Torrington next week.

The Leroy Sprague Invite 2022 featured teams from Burns/Pine Bluffs, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Laramie, Rawlins, Rock River, Saratoga/Encampment and Wheatland.

“We can see our training paying off with continued improvements in time,” said head cross country coach Colt Goff.
