Wheatland boxer to represent Wyoming at Regional Tournament

WHEATLAND - Hard Knocks Boxing Club organized and coached by James Manzanares is sending one of his students to the Regional Silver Gloves Tournament in Caldwell, Idaho this weekend.
A.J. Stegman of Wheatland won his age and weight division at the Wyoming State Silver Gloves Tournament hosted by the Casper Boxing Club last Saturday in Casper. He will be representing Wyoming in the Regional Tournament in the 13-14-year-old division at 125 pounds. The event is sanctioned by the National USA Boxing organization and is the Region Seven Box Off for Nationals. The National Silver Gloves Tournament will be held Jan. 31 through Feb. 2 in Independence, Mo.
Hard Knocks Boxing Club trains Monday through Wednesday,  6-8 p.m. at the gym located at 602 Eighth Street in Wheatland.
