GUERNSEY — Postseason all-conference teams have been named for the 2017-2018 season and a pair of Viking players were included.
Viking sophomore Alex Delgado was named to the boys’ Class 1-A all-conference squad. Delgado was a point guard for the Vikings during a tough 1-18 season for the Vikes.Based on 15-of-19 total games for which stats were available, Delgado averaged 6.4 points per game. He scored a total of 96 points, took down 36 rebounds and had 22 steals and 22 assists.
Lady Viking junior Whitney Martin was named to the girls’ Class 1-A East all-conference team, her second year for the honor. In 17 games of reported stats, Martin scored 133 points, took down 135 rebounds and had 20 assists and 35 steals.
Others named to the boys’ squad were Tylor Goodro, Conor McGraw, Shane McGraw and Brendon Reeves, all of Hanna-Elk Mountain, Rhett Greenwald of Lingle-Fort Laramie, and Tristan Bunce, Tony Flores, Chase Hargrow and Jacob Moore, all of Rock River. Player of the Year was Shane McGraw of Hanna-Elk Mountain.
Joining Martin on the girls’ squad were Amy Campbell, Jessica Nelsen and Taylar Scott, all of Hanna-Elk Mountain, Kaelyn Riley and Ashley Riley of Lingle-Fort Laramie, Taylor Broyles, Rory, Clark-Johnston, Lydia Moore and Emma Sander, all of Rock River. Player of the Year was Taylor Broyles of Rock River.
