Tracy Joe Hamilton, 57, of Wheatland died at 5:40 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 10 from illness caused by pancreatic cancer.
Tracy was born April 12, 1961, in Torrington. He spent his early adulthood in Oregon where he met his wife, Paula. They married on Jan. 10, 1982 and began their family. He then moved to Wheatland, where he loved to hunt and fish, explore the outdoors, and spend all his time with his family and many animals. He was very loved and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Paula Hamilton; daughter Rayna Hamilton and her husband Lowell; son Mike Hamilton and his wife Jennifer; daughter Rachelle Hamilton; his mother and father, Betty and Jack Hamilton of Wheatland; two brothers, Monte Hamilton and Toby Hamilton of Wheatland; sister, Cody Sue Hamilton; 8 grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews; and his beloved family dog, Jersey.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; his daughter, Rebecca Hamilton; his brother, Mike Hamilton; sister, Penny Isgrigg; and his father-in-law, Robert Engel and brother-in-law, Doyle Flannery.
A celebration of life will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, at 125 N. Hightower road, Wheatland.
