DOUGLAS – Timothy “Tim” Wayne Bruhn, 68, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021 at the Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas.

Timothy Bruhn was born on Monday, March 16, 1953 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Ernest and Betty (Kirk) Bruhn.

Tim grew up in Logan, New Mexico and attended school there. After he graduated from high school, he worked for the family business, Bruhn Trucking and drove truck. Tim also loved the cowboy life and worked as a ranch hand on many ranches. Tim spent most of his life around the Logan, Texas, and Colorado areas. He retired to Guernsey with his family.

Tim was very passionate about guns. He loved guns and was currently enrolled in a gunsmithing class at Eastern Wyoming College in Douglas. He loved being in the mountains and hunting. He was also quite the joker with his friends, family and co-workers.

Tim is survived by his wife, Frankie Bruhn of Guernsey; daughter, Tammy Bruhn of Clovis, New Mexico; stepchildren, Megan (Ben) Nicolson of Virginia, Michelle Frisbey, Jay Frisbey, and Brett Frisbey all of Guernsey; siblings, Randy (Teresa) Bruhn, Edwin Bruhn, Sandra (Ray) Terry all of Logan, New Mexico, Teresa (Michael) Mitchell of Amarillo, Texas, and Ernie (Shirley) Bruhn of Logan, New Mexico; and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the organization or charity of the donor’s choice.
