WHEATLAND – Stephen Lauck Bise passed from this world on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at his home in Wheatland. Stephen was born on Saturday, Aug. 2, 1997, in Casper, the son of Howard and Peggy (Lauck) Bise.

He was reared and educated southeast of Wheatland in Slater. As a young boy, Stephen had a vivid imagination, transforming himself with “war-paint” and his favorite Indian costume. Stephen also enjoyed his stuffed animals and the wide-open spaces in the country. Stephen was also very fond of his cats, naming each one. As Stephen grew and matured, he enjoyed teaching himself to play the drums. During his teenage years he became fond of the game of golf and was employed at the Wheatland Golf Course. After graduating from high school, he was employed with a local construction contractor and later with a lumber supply store.

Stephen is survived by his parents, Howard and Peggy Bise; brother, Michael and wife, Marisha; nephew, Carter; nieces, Sierra and Harper; grandpa, Marvin Lauck; and his cat, Twinkle. Stephen is loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A service will be held on Friday, Sept. 24, at the Slater Community Hall, at 2 p.m., (travel east after taking the Slater Exit No. 65).

The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements.
