Spring sports athletes receive awards

The 4 x 100 team of Kacey Otero, Laynie Goertz, Kayla Beaman and Desirae Iacovetto broke a school record that had stood for over 30 years. WHEATLAND – The Wheatland High School Lady Bulldog softball team and the WHS track team gathered together May 27 to award their end-of-the season awards at the high school gymnasium.

 

On a night where multiple banquets were running simultaneously; the banquet was held at 6:30 p.m. and many kids finished winning awards and ran to other organizations ceremonies to receive awards.

 

Following the awards ceremony the Wheatland High School booster club provided an ice cream social in the foyer of the high school.
