Ronald Wayne Currier, 82, passed away on Thursday, April 16 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland.
Ronald Currier was born on Friday, July 30, 1937 in Sanford, Maine the son of Henry S. and Alfreda M. (Bragg) Currier.
Ronald was reared and educated in Milton Mills, N.H. and graduated high school in 1955. After graduation he entered into the United States Air Force. During his service he met Kathryn Goens and they were married on Oct. 13, 1960 in Riverton. While in Riverton, Ronald went to work for a construction company as their bookkeeper until he retired after 40 plus years with them. Ronald and Kathryn moved to Wheatland in 2016 to be closer to family.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathryn Currier of Wheatland; children, David (Donna) Currier of Boston, Mass., Sharon (Bob) Chretien of Lufkin, Texas, and Brian (Jeri) Currier of Chugwater; sister, Muriel Brummage of New Hampshire; granddaughter, Katie Currier of Chugwater; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements.
