Rest with joy
Much is happening in our world that is not making us very happy. We must remember there is a path of life and a path of destruction. The path of destruction the Christian should never walk down. The path of life brings with it joy that does not depend on our circumstances. We should all shout hallelujah to that! Joy is a wonderful gift from the Lord. Joy is much deeper than happiness. It is deeper than our situations or circumstances. Happiness comes and goes but joy will remain steadfast and sturdy through it all. Joy is a calm delight or a rejoicing sound knowing all is going to be all right!
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11)
