TORRINGTON – The Goshen County Task Force on Family Violence and Sexual Assault is sponsoring a fundraiser drawing during the Lingle Centennial Celebration in July to help with its mission.
Tickets are on sale now for a chance to win a 2002 Thunderbird hard top convertible to be drawn during the celebration July 14. The GCTF is selling tickets for $25 each or 5 tickets for $100, with proceeds from the sales going to benefit victims of abuse in Goshen County.

The winner does not have to be present to win.
The Thunderbird has 27,000 miles and is in excellent condition, Cassie Leet, GCTF board treasurer, said. The vehicle was donated by a friend of GCTF. The car is diamond blue and can be seen at various locations around Goshen County. Check the GCTF Facebook page weekly for updates on where the vehicle will be on display. For more information, email tbirdraffle@yahoo.com.
Tickets are available from GCTF board members and at the downtown office at 1933 Main St., Torrington (same building as Lee’s Jewelers) Monday through Friday 9-3.
Anyone struggling with domestic violence or sexual assault can call the GCTF hotline 307-532-2118 anytime. Staff and advocates are available 24/7 to assist victims of abuse in Goshen County. All services are free and confidential. During business hours Monday through Friday that same phone number is a business line at the downtown office.
