Rae Gill, 79, passed away at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018.
Rae was born Monday, Sept. 26, 1938, in Sheffield, England, the daughter of Charles and Edith (Nicholas) MacMillan.
Her family — mother, father and brother — immigrated from Scotland to America in 1947 and made their new home in Laramie.  
On Sept. 11, 1965,, she married Robbie Gill in Cheyenne and moved to Rawlins, where she was a hair stylist for 20 years.  In 1981 they moved to Saratoga and Encampment, where they resided until she retired.  
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Stewart MacMillian.  
She is survived by her husband, Robbie Gill, of Wheatland; daughter Keri, of Gillette; grandson Nicholas Bider, of Rock Springs; great-grandson Talon Bider, of Rock Springs; sisters-in-law Maureen MacMillian, of Omaha, Nebraska, and Janice “Gail” Allen, of Lovell; brothers-in-law Ron “Pat” Gill, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jim “Chris” Gill, of Rawlins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will have a graveside service on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Rawlins Cemetery with the Rev. Karen Buckingham officiating.
A reception will follow the service at Southern Baptist Church, 2005 Darnby Road. The family requests comfortable attire.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland is in charge of the arrangements.
