Unapproved Record – The Board of County Commissioners, Platte County, Wyoming, met on the 18th day of October 2022 in the county seat of Wheatland. Those present for the meeting were Steve Shockley, Commission Chairman; Ian Jolovich, Commissioner; Kayla Mantle, Commissioner; and Malcolm Ervin, County Clerk. Chairman Shockley called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Commissioner Jolovich motioned, seconded by Commissioner Mantle, to approve the agenda as presented. The motion carried. Liquor License Transfer: Chairman Shockley called a public hearing to order at 9:30 AM for the purpose of accepting public comment on the transfer of the retail liquor license held by Rodeo Ranch, who is authorizing their license to be transferred to Irishcowboys LLC. Chairman Shockley opened the meeting to public comment. After receiving no public comment, Chairman Shockley closed the meeting to public comment. Commissioner Jolovich motioned, seconded by Commissioner Mantle, to approve the liquor license transfer between Rodeo Ranch and Irishcowboys LLC. The motion carried. Statement of Receipts and Expenditures for Fiscal Year 2021 – 2022: Clerk Ervin presented the Platte County Statement of Receipts and Expenditures pursuant to W.S. §18-3-515. Commissioner Mantle motioned, seconded by Commissioner Jolovich, to approve the Platte County Statement of Receipts and Expenditures for Fiscal Year 2021 – 2022. The motion carried. Emergency Management: Commissioner Mantle motioned, seconded by Commissioner Jolovich, to approve a grant agreement between the Wyoming Department of Homeland Security and Platte County for the purpose of purchasing mobile radio repeaters and make Terry Stevenson the grant administrator. The motion carried. Fire Ban: Aaron Clark, County Fire Warden, requested that the Commissioners rescind the fire ban due to the reduction in fire danger throughout the county. Commissioner Mantle motioned, seconded by Commissioner Jolovich, to approve Resolution #2022-14 rescinding the fire ban. The motion carried.
