NOTICE TO APPROPRIATORS OF
GROUND WATER
IN THE PLATTE COUNTY CONTROL AREA
The following groundwater enlargement applications have been received in the State Engineer’s Office. Upon conclusion of advertising, the applications will be considered by the Platte County Control Area Advisory Board.
KENNEDY, KELLY (KENNEDY RANCH LLC): Temporary Filing Number (TFN) U.W. 46-8-272, the ENL BYERS 6, is an enlargement of Permit No. U.W. 189237, the BYERS 6 Well, located in T23N, R68W, Section 6, SENW, to provide an original supply of groundwater to irrigate 86 additional acres within the Wheatland Irrigation District.
TFN U.W. 46-9-272, ENL BYERS #4, is an enlargement of Permit No. U.W. 191890, the BYERS #4 Well, located in T23N, R68W, Section 6, NESW, to provide an additional supply of groundwater to irrigate the same 86 additional acres.
Groundwater from the ENL BYERS 6 and the ENL BYERS #4 will be commingled for a total yearly maximum system volumetric quantity of 230.5 acre-feet.
Any objections to the granting of these permits must be made in writing to the State Engineer’s Office, Ground Water Division, 122 West 25th Street, Herschler Building 2W, Cheyenne, WY 82002, within ten (10) days of the final publication of this notice (July 1, 2023).
