NOTICE TO APPROPRIATORS
OF GROUND WATER
IN THE PLATTE COUNTY CONTROL AREA
The following groundwater application has been received in the State Engineer’s Office. Upon conclusion of advertising, this application will be considered by the Platte County Control Area Advisory Board.
REYES, JUAN D AND JONI S: Temporary Filing Number U.W. 46-5-301, the TRAUTWEIN IRRIGATON WELL NO 1, is a groundwater application for Irrigation use. The well will be located in T23N, R68W, Section 12, SWSW, and will be approximately 250 feet deep. Water will be produced at a rate of up to 900 gallons per minute, with a total volumetric quantity of water used of 395 acre-feet per calendar year to irrigate 147.3 acres in T23N, R68W, Section 12, NESW, NWSW, SESW, and SWSW. Water from this well will be an additional supply for lands irrigated by surface water and reservoir rights under the Wheatland Irrigation District.
Any objections to the granting of this permit must be made in writing to the State Engineer’s Office, Ground Water Division, 122 West 25th Street, Herschler Building 2W, Cheyenne, WY 82002, within ten (10) days of the final publication of this notice (June 17, 2023).
