UNAPPROVED RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE
TOWN OF WHEATLAND A special meeting of the Council for the Town of Wheatland, Platte County, and State of Wyoming was held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 pursuant to the law.
Mayor Pro-Tem Madsen called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. The following were present at roll call: Councilman Kaufman, Allison and Montoya. Attorney Doug Weaver and Clerk/Treasurer Candy Wright were also present. Councilman Montoya motioned, seconded by Councilman Kaufman, to accept the agenda as presented. Motion passed 3-0. BUSINESS BEFORE THE BOARD: Councilman Kaufman motioned, seconded by Councilman Montoya, to approve Ordinance 840 on third and final reading. Motion Passed 3-0. Town of Wheatland Ordinance NO. 840 – An Ordinance Rezoning 1950 South Road, Town of Wheatland, More Particularly Described Below WHEREAS, the applicants, Capstone Industries, LLC, representing Mark and Sherri Anderson, submitted an application for a land use district boundary change for the real property described below, and; WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing concerning this land use district boundary change on March 02, 2023, at approximately 1730 hours, and; WHEREAS, during the March 02, 2023, at approximately 1730 hours, Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing, the Commission voted to recommend to the Town Council to approve the requested land use district boundary change from Residential District to General Business District, and; WHEREAS, the Town Council held a public hearing concerning this land use district boundary change on March 02, 2023, at approximately 1800 hours, and; WHEREAS, during the March 02, 2023, at approximately 1800 hours, Town Council public hearing, the Town Council voted to approve the requested land use district boundary change from Residential District to General Business District. Now Therefore, be it Ordained by the Town Council of the Town of Wheatland, Wyoming. The following described real property: 1950 South Road: East 135 Feet of South 100 Feet of Tract 4, Mountain View Addition, Town of Wheatland, Platte County, Wyoming Be and the same is hereby re-zoned from Residential District (R) to General Business District (GB) as set forth in Title 18 of the Wheatland Municipal Code. Passed and approved this 02 day of March 2023, on first reading. Passed and approved this 13 day of March 2023, on second reading. Passed and approved this 21 day of March 2023, on third reading.
