NOTICE THAT AN APPLICATION FOR TAX DEED WILL BE FILED
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to every person in actual possession or occupancy of the hereinafter described real property and premises, and to the person in whose name the same was taxed or specially assessed, and to all persons claiming an interest or title of record in or to the said premises and to whom it may concern, and more especially to: EUGENE R. SPEIDEL.
You and each of you are hereby notified that an application for a treasurer’s tax deed will be filed with the Treasurer in and for Platte County, State of Wyoming, by DWAYNE AXFORD (“Applicant”), whose address is in care of Stephen N. Sherard, attorney at law, Sherard, Sherard, Artery & Johnson, P.O. Box 69, Wheatland, WY 82201.
The Applicant is requesting a tax deed for the following described real property:
Lot 6, Block 8, Original Town of Hartville, Platte County, Wyoming
The above-described real property was taxed in the name of Eugene R. Speidel of 805 Illinois St. Sheridan, WY 82801-5232. The above-described property was taxed in 2018, and the Applicant purchased the above-described property pursuant to a Certified of Purchase on July 10, 2018 (2017 CP #9494), and has paid the taxes thereafter for the tax years 2018 (2018 Sub #7739), 2019 (2019 Sub #7794), 2020 (2020 Sub #7909), and 2021 (2021 Sub #7995). The time for redemption will expire on November 30, 2022. The Applicant will make application for tax deed on December 1, 2022.
There are no known special assessments for local or public improvements. A copy of this notice has been mailed to the record owner of the above-described property.
