January 2022 Collections: Clerk $12,252.95. Depositories of Public Funds: Mr. Jolovich motioned, seconded by Mrs. Mantle, to approve First State Bank as a depository for County funds. The motion carried. Sick Leave Donation:Mr. Jolovich motioned, seconded by Mrs. Mantle, to approve the transfer of 47.5 hours of sick leave from two employees to one. The motion carried. MOU: The Commissioners considered a MOU that would provide Public Health with $75,000.00 to continue COVID-19 testing and contact tracing efforts. Mrs. Mantle motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich, to approve a memorandum of understanding between the Wyoming Department of Health and Platte County for COVID-19 surveillance and testing funding. The motion carried. Building Certificate: Planner Clark presented two building certificates from Carley Ruby and Saddle Butte Power Flats Midstream LLC for approval. Road & Bridge: Superintendent Beal Angle presented an encroachment license for James Wastart and two for Saddle Butte Pipeline were approved. Emergency Management: Terry Stevenson and Tony Krotz provided updates. A meeting will be held on February 8th for the purpose of adjusting a Southeast Wyoming hazard mitigation plan. They also presented updates to radio network equipment. Maintenance: Jim DeWitt updated the Commissioners that he hired someone to fill his open maintenance position, the library roof repair has been completed and other maintenance projects. County Clerk: Mr. Ervin discussed the County’s budget for the current fiscal year and the budget for the Courthouse renovation project. Courthouse Renovation Project: Mr. Ervin presented the guaranteed maximum price (GMP) amendment, which sets the maximum price for all work currently included in the construction documents. The price established is $4,815,478.00. Mrs. Mantle motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich, to approve guaranteed maximum price amendment between Sampson Construction and Platte County. The motion carried. Mr. Ervin then presented five change orders for consideration. These change orders would be additional work not shown in the construction documents covered by the GMP. The change orders presented were: Change Order 1 – $51,605 to replace flooring on levels two and three; Change Order 2 – $166,925 to remove and replace data and electrical on levels two and three; Change Order 3 – $109,047 to frame, drywall and finish all walls on levels two and three; Change Order 4 – $15,935 to run data cable to security camera locations on all floors; Change Order 5 – $2,467 to provide and install phase monitors on HVAC equipment. Mr. Jolovich motioned, seconded by Mrs. Mantle, to approve Change Order Requests #1-5 to the courthouse renovation for a total of $345,979. The motion carried. There being no further business the meeting adjourned at approximately 11:15 A.M.
