Resolution #2021-18: Mrs. Mantle motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich, to approve Resolution #2021-18 to set county commissioner meeting dates for 2022. The motion carried. The full resolution is available for inspection online at www.plattecountywyoming.com or in the Office of the County Clerk. Executive Session: At 9:13 AM, Mr. Jolovich motioned, seconded by Mrs. Mantle, to call for an executive session for personnel, pursuant to Wyoming State Statute §16-4-405(a)(ii). The motion carried. At 9:46 AM, Mr. Jolovich motioned, seconded by Mrs. Mantle, to end an executive session where no decisions were made. The motion carried. Fair Board: Board members presented updates to how the Agriplex was working and provided general updates to what is occurring at the Fairgrounds. Sharron Utter: Mrs. Utter presented a picture frame that contains pictures of the 4-H Building and a description of the building’s history. The frame will be hung in the Agriplex on a wall that was once an exterior wall of the 4-H Building. Building Certificate: Planner Clark presented a building certificate from Terry & Dee Reagan for approval. Planning & Zoning: Planner Clark spoke about a complaint she received regarding a property in Platte County. The property, located at 26 Sawmill Road, Wheatland, was granted a special use permit on May 19, 2019, to operate a junkyard and salvage use/operation in an industrial zoning district. However, the permit was nontransferable and the property is under new ownership. Neighbors have recently issued complaints to the planning office that a significant amount of “junk” has been brought onto the property. Ms. Clark will send a letter to the owner letting them know they are in violation of County zoning requirements and will need to submit an application for a special use permit. Public Health: Nicole Sticka, Public Health Nurse Manager, provided numerous updates to the Commissioners. After administering 800 doses of flu vaccine, Public Health is completely out of the flu vaccine. The state of Wyoming has approved an increase of funding for the Response Coordinator (BT) program, which would allow the position to be fulltime for the duration of the state’s biannual budget. Mrs. Sticka is currently working to produce more Spanish-focused material. Maintenance Department: Jim DeWitt, Maintenance Supervisor, provided updates about the temporary building and library. Mr. DeWitt presented a proposal to fix a library roof issue, which the commissioners approved. Courthouse Construction Updates: Mr. Jolovich motioned, seconded by Mrs. Mantle, to approve requisition #22 to the courthouse improvement fund in the sum of $90,675.33. The motion carried. Clerk Ervin presented updates about the project. Redistricting: Clerk Ervin updated the Commissioners about redistricting efforts. There being no further business the meeting adjourned at approximately 12:00 P.M.
