Approved Record of the August 3, 2021 Proceedings of the Platte County Commissioners in Wheatland, WY - A special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners was called to order at 9:00 A.M. with the following present: Steve Shockley, Commission Chairman; Kayla Mantle, Commissioner; Malcolm Ervin, County Clerk and Doug Weaver, County Attorney. The purpose of the meeting was to approve a lease between R&R Management Company, LLC and Platte County and to discuss the Platte County Courthouse Renovation and consider any actionable items surrounding the renovation. The lease would allow all departments in the courthouse to relocate to 2020 South Street, Wheatland, while the courthouse is renovated. Mrs. Mantle motioned, seconded by Mr. Shockley, to approve a lease agreement between R&R Management Co, LLC and Platte County. The motion carried 2-0. The courthouse departments intend to be located at 2020 South Street, Wheatland starting in the first week of October. There being no further business the meeting adjourned at approximately 9:30 A.M.
