Approved Record of the July 22, 2021 Proceedings of the Platte County Commissioners in Wheatland, WY - A special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners was called to order at 10:00 A.M. with the following present: Steve Shockley, Commission Chairman; Ian Jolovich, Commissioner; Kayla Mantle, Commissioner; and Malcolm Ervin, County Clerk. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Platte County Courthouse Renovation and consider any actionable items surrounding the renovation. Others present were Greg Orr, Reliance Construction Consulting; Chris Larsen, Malone Belton Abel architects; members from Sampson Construction; and various members of the public. Mr. Orr, Project Manager, asked Mr. Larsen to present the floor plan for the project in in-depth detail. While Mr. Larsen presented the in-depth floor plan, Sampson Construction offered suggestions of alterations that could save some money on the project. Mr. Orr and Sampson will work in the next few days to deliver a more accurate budget for the project and work to ensure the project is successful.
