NOTICE TO APPROPRIATORS OF GROUND WATER
IN THE PLATTE COUNTY CONTROL AREA
The following application was received by the State Engineer. Upon conclusion of advertising and public comment, the application will be considered by the Platte County Control Area Advisory Board for their recommendation.
TOWN OF GUERNSEY: Temporary Filing Number U.W. 45-4-157, the Enl Trail Ruts No 1 Well, is an enlargement of the Trail Ruts No 1 Well, Permit No. U.W. 86235 for additional yield, volume, and area of use. The Trail Ruts No 1 is located in T26N, R66W, Section 2, NW1/4 SE1/4. The relocated Trail Ruts No 1 well produces more water than the original permit allows. The additional groundwater will be commingled with Town Pump Lift, Permit No. U.W. 24330. The flow rate will increase by 150 gallons per minute, and the maximum volumetric quantity of water to be beneficially used will increase by 135 acre-feet per calendar year.
Any objections to the granting of the above application must be made in writing to the State Engineer, 122 West 25th Street, Herschler Building 2W, Cheyenne WY 82002. Objections must be received within ten days of the final publication of this notice.
