Unapproved Record of the December 29, 2020 Proceedings of the Platte County Commissioners in Wheatland, WY – A special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners was called to order at 1:00 P.M. with the following present: Sandy Kontour, Commission Chairman; Steve Shockley, Commissioner; Ian Jolovich, Commissioner; and Malcolm Ervin, County Clerk. Resolution #2020-37: Mr. Jolovich motioned, seconded by Mr. Shockley, to approve Resolution #2020-37 titled, “Amendment to the 2020-2021 Budget to Establish the CARES Act Charitable Relief Program” The motion carried. The full resolution is available for inspection online at www.plattecountywyoming.com or in the Office of the County Clerk. Reimbursement Requests: Mr. Shockley motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich, to approve reimbursement requests from the CARES Act Charitable Relief Program as presented. The motion carried. The reimbursements are as follows: CARES Act Charitable Relief FAITH FELLOWSHIP CHURCH 1,777.15 GLENDO VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE 35,984.06 GUERNSEY COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY 3,574.33 PLATTE COUNTY COMMODITIES 12,500.00 PLATTE COUNTY MINISTRY COOP 1,200.00 PROJECT SAFE INC 22,434.67 ST JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH 6,500.00 ST PATRICKS POOR & NEEDY FUND 1,781.70 TOTAL 85,751.91. Public Health MOU: Mr. Shockley motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich, to approve a Memorandum of Understanding between the State of Wyoming and Platte County. The motion carried. The MOU would provide funding from the Wyoming Department of Health for a contact tracer hired by Public Health in the amount of $104,076.00. Courthouse Renovation Project: Greg Orr, Project Manager, updated the Commissioners about the Courthouse renovation project. Mr. Orr said Malone Belton Abel presented him with a request for an additional $55,100 to pay for design, and engineering, changes associated with the elevator move. The Commissioners agreed that Mr. Orr should proceed with the change. There being no further business the meeting adjourned at approximately 1:30 P.M.
