NOTICE TO APPROPRIATORS OF GROUNDWATER
IN THE PLATTE COUNTY CONTROL AREA
The following petition was received by the State Engineer’s Office. Upon conclusion of advertising and public comment, the petition will be considered by the Platte County Control Area Advisory Board for their recommendation.
Town of Guernsey: Board of Control Petition Docket No. I-U-2019-2-3 for change in location of the Trail Ruts No. 1 well, Permit No. U.W. 86235 due to poor water quality. The well is located in the SW¼NE¼ of Sec. 2, T26N, R66W, is permitted for 300 gallons per minute, and is used to water the Trail Ruts Municipal Golf Course. This well is currently Unadjudicated but will be Adjudicated as a process of this petition. There will be no increase in the amount of the appropriation.
Any objections to the granting of the above petition must be made in writing to the State Engineer, 122 West 25th Street, Herschler Building 2W, Cheyenne WY 82002. Objections must be received within ten (10) days of the final publication of this notice.
