Tax Cancellation: Mr. Shockley motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich, to approve the tax cancellation for tax year 2019 for Jason Taliaferro in the amount of $79.12. The motion carried. Mr. Jolovich motioned, seconded by Mr. Shockley, to approve the tax cancellation for tax year 2019 for S Double D, LLC in the amount of $364.49. The motion carried. Road & Bridge: Captain Matthew Icanberry, Wyoming Military Department, was in attendance and briefly spoke to the Commissioners about his role at Camp Guernsey. Emigrant Hill Road: Mr. Shockley motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich, to approve a real property lease between Platte County and the State of Wyoming Military Department regarding Emigrant Hill Road. The motion carried. Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency: Mr. Shockley motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich to approve Cybersecurity Assessments Rules of Engagement between the Department of Homeland Security and Platte County. The motion carried. Mr. Shockley motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich, to have the Department of Homeland Security conduct continuous network and vulnerability scans of the Platte County IT network. The motion carried. Game & Fish MOU: Mr. Shockley motioned, seconded by Mr. Jolovich, to approve an MOU between Platte County and the Wyoming Game and Fish for the purposes of improving and developing habitat for Festo Lake. The motion carried. Planning & Zoning: Clerk Ervin presented a building certificate from Benjamin Knickerbocker for approval. Maintenance Department: Jim DeWitt, Maintenance Superintendent, spoke to the Commissioners about the recent snowstorm. Mr. DeWitt also spoke to the Commissioners about updating to more efficient lighting and a courthouse-wide fire alarm system. Emergency Management: The Commissioners met with Terry Stevenson, Emergency Management Coordinator, to receive an update about his duties. Platte County Economic Development: Merlin Hitt, PCED Executive Director, encouraged the Commissioners to continue working towards a tri-county joint powers board to improve broadband connectivity between Platte, Goshen, and Niobrara Counties. Mr. Hitt also spoke about the success in Wheatland’s downtown. County Clerk: Clerk Ervin informed the Commissioners that Jaques Bakke and Daryl Tiltrum, both Platte County residents, had donated artwork to the County to be displayed in the Courthouse.
