Take notice that Sinclair Transportation Company has filed an application for a Rezone request. The request is to rezone 412.25 acres from Agriculture to Industrial zoning. The purpose for the request is to conduct crude oil and petroleum related operations. The area in question is described as part of Sections 13 and 24, Township 26 North, Range 66 West. This location is between White Rock Trace and S. Guernsey Road south of Guernsey, WY.
There will be two public hearings in order to review this request. The first public hearing will be before the Planning & Zoning Commission on Wednesday, June 12th, 2019 at 7:00 PM. The second public hearing will be before the Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Both of these meetings will be held in the Commissioners Chambers, located in the basement of the Platte County Courthouse (800 9th Street, Wheatland).
